The DD-124 and DD-128 Data Dolphin data loggers provide the accuracy of a laboratory instrument even when working in the harsh conditions of field environments. The DD-124Õs four differential and the DD-128Õs eight single-ended high precision inputs provide resolution to 90 nanovolts. The built-in analog and digital filters allow elimination of external signal conditioning. In addition, four lower precision inputs accept pulse, on/off status, and event start/stop signals. The DD-124 and DD-128 use non-volatile flash memory for long term data storage without requiring batteries to preserve the memory. By using a database structure, inputs can be added or deleted and even the sampling rate can be changed on the fly without a restart. Designed for field use, all inputs incorporate lightning and static protection. To maintain logging and the internal clock, the DD-124 and DD-128 include backup power packs. Low operating power gives these batteries a very long life. Note, however, that these batteries do not provide power to external sensors. The Data Dolphin software allows setup of the data logger and viewing of its current status. In addition, it generates graphs of the data and exports it for use in other programs. |

Formerly known as STI Automation and Lundahl Inc. In September 2006 Scientific Technologies, Inc. (STI) sold its Automation Products Group to Automation Products Group, Inc. (APG), a new company formed as a result of STI Safety Products Group’s recent merger with a subsidiary of Japan-based Omron Corporation. “This change will be completely transparent for Automation Products Group, Inc. customers, and they can expect the same level of high quality automation products and services that they have come to depend on over the years,” says Jim Vella, APG President. “Automation Products Group, Inc. will continue to be a single source for process and automation sensor solutions.”Reviews
